Since he graduated law school and passed the Florida bar in 2004, Matt Palentchar’s law career has been very substantial and varied, although he’s mostly focused on real estate. Matt’s practice of law began with a general practice law firm in Naples, Florida, where he practiced in real estate, as well as estate planning, civil, criminal and business law. That didn’t last long, however, as he decided it was time to found Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran until 2010, when personal issues and a terrible illness caused him to leave Florida for a while.

Thankfully, Matt Palentchar is tough and he was able to overcome the illness and the personal problems. He soon returned to Florida, this time in St. Petersburg, where he formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC. He continues to live there with his wife Heather and their two dogs and he continues to focus on a variety of real estate transactions and property law in general. Over the past decade or so, Matt Palentchar now has a reputation for providing lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions with the best possible representation.

Matthew Palentchar has proven himself to be very tough. As one of the best real estate lawyers in the Tampa Bay region, he has had to overcome a lot to get there, not the least of which was a life-threatening illness that forced him to leave Florida altogether for a time. He grew up in New Jersey, earned his law degree in Ohio, but he passed the bar in Florida. Soon after, he practiced in numerous legal disciplines at a Naples, Florida-based general practice law firm before tiring of that and forming his own firm, Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A., which he ran from 2005 through 2010, when that life threatening illness, among other things, made it necessary leave Florida for a time.

However, he is now back with a vengeance, returning to Florida and forming Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg. He lives there with his wife Heather and their two dogs. With a new lease on life, he is also heavily involved in his community. Besides being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar Association, Matt Palentchar also likes to spend his free time volunteering as a Court-Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), as a Guardian Ad Litum for children who are in desperate need of assistance.
